Emo make up

Emo make up
Along with emo hair and emo fashion, emo makeup is what you need to complete the emo look and the one thing you must not forget about. Now days it is totally acceptable for both emo boys and of course emo girls to wear makeup, particularly eye-liner.Emo makeup is often mistaken with goth look, but actually isn't as dark as goth and has more colors such as green or pink.

The basic stuffs required to do emo makeup include black eye-shadow, black mascara and black eye-liner pencil. Use eye-liner and draw closely to the eye lashes then follow with purple or violet liner and draw towards the eyebrows. You should add some eye liner underthe eyes to get more impression.Eye lids must have a dark eye shade with a light-colored eye shadow below eyebrows and then highlight around eye lids with dark red.

To produce a more veritable look for your emo make-up, you will need a lot more than barely a black eye-liner pencil and black mascara. You will need to be imaginative with the standard materials to create your emo make-up original and unlike unlike everyday make-up.

  10. I'm am an emo, an old emo, I am someone who knows exactly what emo is, emo is a type of music known as emo hardcore, people dress according to how this music makes them feel, some people may call it Emotionally Unstable, this is wrong, the others do not know what it is like being us or what it really feels like. We are not different. If the music makes us in pain, some people take this pain away by slitting themselves, you should never want to hurt yourself, not ever, sometimes you kind of have to die inside and then rise from your own ashes and live again.

  11. The hair and clothes are again up to you, think, how does this kind of music make you feel, do not get yourself confused with the enemy, known as Scene, Scene dress like us but without paying any attention to how the music makes them feel, they are copycats, dumb copycats. Do not follow them, you are the leader, there is no such thing as 'emo hair' their is scene hair but not emo, emo hair is what YOU want. Remember to love yourself. If you don't your very dignity maybe taken. Goodluck!

  14. Blimey that was quick! My first reply that quickly! wow! The problem here Candie here is that, this boy has probably been as nervous around you as you are of him, you need to talk to him, or you will both suffer, a good line is 'Hello (boys name), how are you? (dont wait for reply) ive heard a hell of a lot about you and I was just wondering who you were.' thats a good opener. after that he should have responded, and perhaps a nice conversation will start! Good luck! And act nice and confedant! Chin up!

  15. Old goth bitch sez:

You are not your clothes and your makeup (see Fightclub for further details), but if it makes you happy to look a particular way, at the end of the day it's your body.

No, dressing like an "emo" (or a "goth" for that matter) will NOT make you an individual. Only YOU can make yourself into an individual, by thinking for yourself. Clothing is just one way we show other people that we may have similar interests as they do--it's advertisement! If you dress in an "emo" fashion, it's a call to others who either dress emo, or are interested in emo music, that you might be cool to go to a show with. Get it?

So your parents won't let you dress how you want? Wah-wah...just wait. They can't tell you how to dress once you're 18 and on your own. You'll have plenty of time to look fabulous then. In the meantime, practice makeup and hair in private, so you don't look like an incompetent fool once you can dress how you like.

Also, I assume this is true of emo culture, as well as goth, but DO know your musical history. No one respects a Johnny-come-lately who doesn't respect what came before him. Find forums that discuss music you're interested in; find out names of local bands.

  16. WHO is to say what someone's hair, make-up, clothes should be? Is there some universal standard of what beautiful is?? Should we ALL wear one color, no make-up, and do everything the same because we were BORN that way??? I personally think: no. But it's my opinion not a fact to shove down someone's throat.....
EVERYONE is entitled to THEIR PERSONAL opinion. Stop hating people, it's really annoying.
